Team Leading

At level 2 learners are usually directed to the Apprenticeship in Team Leading. This is recognised as the starting point for the development of management skills, and is usually suitable for prospective junior managers.

An apprentice learning Team Leader skills does not necessarily have to be a current Team Leader. He or she could  simply be working with others and could be leading on a particular project.

The apprenticeship will seek to guide the learner through working with others, encouraging innovation, planning, and allocating and checking the work of a team.

Business Administration

Effective administration forms an essential part of the smooth running of any business. The ability to deal efficiently with the administration inevitably created by the day-to-day operating of a business is crucial to success. The units of a Business Administration qualification cover broad skills including reducing risks to health and safety, and working effectively as well as more role specific skills such as managing diaries, using spreadsheets software and preparing text from notes.

This is a level 3 apprenticeship and is suitable for learners who have satisfactorily completed the level 2 apprenticeship in Team Leading or for training those responsible for controlling the activities and work output of others.
